My Name is Abhinav Kumar. I work as a Consultant with a leading multinational corporate firm; helping leading global banks Digitize their complex processes and adopt the right technology for their operational needs, but this is just 45 hours of my week!
I enjoy what I do at work but what I equally enjoy is studying nutrition and holistic health approaches. I am a strong believer that ‘knowledge is not power, application of knowledge is true power’. Hence, what I read, if it appeals me, I apply the knowledge to see for myself if it works. That is how I have developed a keen interest in this field and I regularly dedicate few hours a week exploring the latest advancements in the field of nutrition and holistic health. Ever since I realized that small lifestyle changes are the ultimate solution for almost all health related problems, my life change drastically. Applying these small changes regularly over a period of time has brought in tremendous changes in me, both externally and internally.
I keep it simple for me. I balance my diet with all sorts of foods that Mother Nature has offered us, eat seasonal foods and respect ancient wisdoms on food and lifestyle. I workout on a daily basis and give my workout schedule a good mix of weight training, HIIT, Yoga and Calisthenics. I also like to mediate, read books (self help, spiritual and autobiographies) and listen to motivational podcasts on a daily basis. Vitamin C (Consistency) & Vitamin D (Discipline) are key. I also like to cook, travel the world and try different experiences and cuisines.
I have always strongly believed that if you take care of your health (physical, emotional, mental & spiritual), your health would take care of you. I follow this principle in my life and my aim is to spread this awareness to as many people as I can. The fitness industry today is commercialized and made to look complicated when it actually is not; instead it’s so simple. The more impact I can make in people’s lives, the more meaningful my life would be.
